Another nice experience at Echo Food came before drinks which was a surprise The chocolate soufflé was amazing

We received a warm welcome when we arrived. We were seated right away for a 7:00pm reservation at 6:30. We sat outside and it was perfect. I mentioned my husband was hungry and within 5 minutes a wonderful bowl oh honey truffle cream corn came out, it was amazing! It was so good we ordered another one. We ordered cocktails that were fresh and delicious, so good I ordered another. We ordered tempura that they made special for us, fantastic waygu dumplings, sea bass can’t wait to get again, and the steak yuzu, there were parts that were delicious, the steak not so much. Ordered medium was well done exterior and interior was raw(cold) the line of fat was not rendered. Not sure what was special about the strip steak. White rice I would pass on, it was not warm. It was my husband’s birthday and they brought out an bento box with the most creative desert items packed with flavor. I recommend everyone order this. Overall we look forward to going again and again. Charles our server was extremely attentive, yet the entire staff seemed on point. They were well trained. Truly look forward to going again. We are locals and have been going to this property for 31 years, it is special to us as we were married there 30 years ago, when it was the Ritz.

Sat outside on the deck which was lovely. A good place for a leisurely lunch if you are not in a hurry. My only complaint is that the ice tea was $8.00.

Hai was great and really knows what he is doing. He made it very entertaining and educational about the different ingredients. The flavors were incredible. Highly recommend.
