Best Sushi Restaurants in Highett

Every time I come here, I’m reminded why I love it the food is always incredible, and the staff are so lovely and attentive. Can’t recommend this place enough!

The food was great and being the second visit to Mr Miyagi I really looked forward at doing the loose lunch,but unfortunately our waitress was never around and the waiting period between being served drinks was sooo disappointing.

Wonderful dining experience - the food was flavoursome and well portioned, wines and sake perfectly matched the cuisine. Staff were attentive, friendly and professional. We have not seen this standard of genuine hospitality and “on point” cuisine in Melbourne for some time. What a find!

Amazing food, fantastic sake, friendly smiling staff. I have already sent messages to friends talking up Kicho and organizing another visit. Had the $59 'feed me' option for the sacred Lee Lee's birthday. We were both blown away by the taste, presentation and experience. The six courses were so much that we had to take the last course home with us. Which became some of the best cold chicken I've had. I have spent over six months in Japan feasting. This is Japanese fusion like you read about. Book now.

By far one of the best restaurants in Melbourne. We rocked up on a Monday evening at 8:45pm, late to our booking 8:30pm, in which we thought the restaurant closed at 12pm but no- it closed at 9pm! So automatically I thought they would apologise and say that we had come too late or give us a time of which we had to leave but instead they catered us, looked after us and told us to take our time. Lucas, the manager and our waiter was so very accomodating. Midway through the dinner, we (me and my date) were the only ones in the restaurant. Was truly an experience I am very grateful for, and all the food was 10/10. I do recommend the ebi mayo, okonomiyaki and yakitori AND the HOT CHOCOLATE - it's one of the best I've had. No joke. 100% recommend.
