We've been coming to SideCut every year since 2014, and for good reason. The quality is always consistently high both in terms of the food and service. It ain't the cheapest place to eat but if you come here you can be confident you'll be at one of the best restaurants in town. The menu is small but that's because it's a steak house that knows what it's about. And you're likely to find things on here you may never see anywhere else. For example at the moment you'll see A5 olive-fed Wagyu from a specific prefecture in Japan. It sure is pricey but for one of those "once-in-a-lifetime" meals it's hard to beat. Find a rich friend if you have to. The winelist is getting progressively better over time. Still heavy on the big reds, as it should be, but read carefully and you'll find what you're looking for. Some great vintages to be spotted here and there. Last but not least, the staff are well-trained and genuinely friendly. No formulaic greetings here.
