Best Steakhouses in Trumbull

Have been here many times, but this time something was off. Food was great so will start there. Service was rushed, sloppy, yet it took forever even though restaurant was not really busy. Our server was nice, but was always rushing and moving so hard to get his attention. Had about $100 worth of seafood left on our seafood platter and someone just came and cleared it off so quickly, that we shouted for him four times before we could get his attention. Did not even think to ask if we were done. Seemed to have lost some of it's higher end polish but kept all of it's higher end prices. Mid-December and they were just putting out Holiday decorations?

I highly reccomend Rothman’s Steakhouse. We had dinner in a Tuesday and took advantage of the special menu, OUTSTANDING value, and delicious meal! The drinks were excellent too! The service and ambiance were top notch. Can’t wait to go back again!!

nice place .. food was good .. noisy and not on a energetic way .. hard to converse .. felt a bit rushed .. in and out in an hour .. little disappointing .. saturday nite

Went for Fairfield Restaurant Week. Been here once before but sat outside on patio. A much better experience. The food was very, very good, The Chicken Scarpariello was delicious, great portion, spicy, but not overly hot. My wife had Sesame Teriyaki Salmon Bowl which she raved about. Serve was sketchy . It was not very attentive. Started OK but faded toward the end. We never got the coffee we ordered with our dessert. The real problem was the noise. The dining room was never more than one quarter full but the noise from the adjacent crowded bar filled the entire space. Very high ceilings which made it worse. Would definitely return for the food, but will wait for spring/summer and sit outside.
