We went for the Thanksgiving experience. We had a reservation for 3 but had 5 ppl and they accommodated us without any issues. The waiter and staff were all very nice and professional. Food took a while to come out but that is to be expected on Thanksgiving day. Dishes were creative and fun. All in all it was a really great experience!

We did the 5 course tasting menu and it was exquisite. Definitely a culinary experience with the wine pairing. Koji ribeye melted in your mouth. The scallops were divine. I even wanted more of the pallet cleanser, it was so good.

While taking our first trip to NOLA, we were fortunate enough to dine at Willie Mae’s. Luckily, they reopened just a few weeks ago on Barronne. The hospitality was excellent, food was unbelievably delicious, and ambiance was very relaxing. All staff were very welcoming, with speedy service and friendly smiles. My wife and I ordered the 1/2 chicken, gumbo, chicken and eggs, and a house salad. The gumbo was full of flavor. The chicken was the best we have ever had. Light, crispy, juicy with a unique airy batter. They put a unique spin on their deviled eggs which we both enjoyed. I would highly recommend this legendary restaurant to anybody. We also met a couple from MS who had frequented the Scotch House in prior trips. I asked how this new place held up and they replied “the setting is very different but the chicken is still just as good as the Scotch House”. Enjoy!
