Had such a great experience at Ryebird in Fairfield! The vibes were really good, and the atmosphere made for a great night. We started with the cheesy bread, which was delicious, and I had the line-caught salmon for my entrée. The salmon was really fresh and cooked perfectly! The service was also really good, especially thanks to our waiter, Leo. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Overall, great food, great vibes, and great service. Definitely had a 5-star experience and would come back again!

A few creative items made this meal pleasurable: the green tomato soup topped with perfectly executed fried green tomato quarters was a standout. The use of seasonal vegetables (the corn succotash with the steelhead) was, in general, a standout. We also appreciated the focus on Hudson Valley wines, and were offered tastes of any that were unfamiliar. A very nice meal!

The food is excellent, the staff is knowledgeable and courteous. This is our go-to place. Only thing, if it's a busy time of day, it gets quite loud and you feel cramped because the tables are very close together. But the food and service make it all worthwhile!
