Service was superior and food was prepared correctly also the portions was generous

Rails is an experience, it’s BIG, noisy at times and full of people. If you are looking for a romantic spot, this may not be ideal. The bar was packed when we arrived so we gave up on having a pre dinner drink and sat down early at our table. The tables are big, all for 4 or more people so again, not romantic. We ordered drinks at the table, they were all good, the Smokey cocktail my friend ordered was fun and good. We ordered everything at once, the mussels special was very good, with a smoky broth and yummy toast points. The oysters were fresh albeit very small . The rolls that they give you are amazing! For dinner we got different steaks and a pizza with pear, Gorgonzola and a reduction. Mashed potatoes and mushrooms as sides. The steaks were flavorful and tender, the pizza was forgettable, a bit soggy and nothing special. Sides were yummy. We had our leftovers bagged up and headed to the bar. This is where the lack of 5 stars across the board happens. My friend ordered a Manhattan, made the way the bartender would want it, all good, my husband asked for Irish Mist, they said they had it somewhere (15 minutes later we got it) I had coffee, I was driving, it came 10 minutes later and was Luke warm, no milk as requested was brought, I told them it was nearly cold, they apologized, left it in front of me, AND charged us for the coffee I didn’t drink. Basically the bar ruined the overall experience of the night.

The Maitre'd, Juan, is a true gentleman. Warm & cordial. The food was delicious, enhanced by the pleasant and efficient waitperson, Remy. A visit to Savini's is a pleasure.
