Noah’s never disappoints! His New England clam chowder is the best-not too thick, not too thin, and chock full of clams and potatoes. The seasonings he uses are also perfect. I had the fluke as my entree and ate every last bite. It was tender and flaky and served with a delicious light lemon caper sauce. The fingerling potatoes were excellent, as was the escarole. My husband had the New England clam chowder as well and also loved it. He had the lobster roll for his main course. The lobster was sweet and tender. Delicious!! Finished off our meal with his fabulous beignets and the panna cotta. Really wonderful meal. Can’t wait to return!

Sunday brunch was amazing! So many choices: beef, ham, bacon, sausage, shrimp, cod, salmon. Tables full of baked goods, salads, sides, an omelet station, loaded dessert table…just more than I can name. Lovely setting, beautiful views. Clean, quiet, well decorated. Would highly recommend for a special birthday or anniversary.

Incredible service. Food was spectacular. Our server Jake was very knowledgeable. Everything came in orderly fashion and was delicious.

We found the quality to be excellent – both the fish and pasta dishes we ordered were delicious and expertly prepared. The wine pairings were spot-on, complementing the meal perfectly, and the overall wine selection was quite good. One of the absolute highlights is the restaurant's location. If you can time your reservation to coincide with sunset, you are in for a treat. The views are truly picturesque and contribute to an unforgettable dining atmosphere. The staff were welcoming and friendly throughout our visit. While they seemed perhaps a little inexperienced in moments, their pleasant demeanor was appreciated. The restaurant had a lively buzz, with background music and the chatter of happy diners; it was a bit noisy but certainly manageable and didn't detract significantly from our meal. Given its quality and popularity – it's deservedly considered one of the better options in the area – we strongly recommend making a reservation in advance, especially if you're hoping for a prime table during sunset. Overall, The Halyard delivers a high-quality dining experience with excellent food and unbeatable scenery. Highly recommended for a special meal out.
