    Excellence is the norm at Eddie Merlot's, from food to service to ideal location and views in Pittsburgh's Golden Triangle. I am writing to encourage people to visit in the afternoon. There are few guests post-lunch hour, and the lunch prices are excellent for the same outstanding food. We made 2:00 reservations the past few times and were able to enjoy a quiet meal at affordable prices. I give this restaurant my highest recommendation.

    My Gal and I had an AMAZING Meal. Daniel was our server and his knowledge was impeccable. I am a chef and rarely dine out since I don't appreciate food and the dining experience often since I am covered in all aspects of it EVERY day. Shayna was our Front Server that handled our pasta courses and helped with beverages. She was a delight! Her Personality was Energetic and "Selling the Alla Famiglia" brand well. She believes in it and "Drinks the Kool Aid"! The Chilean Sea Bass was Cooked to Temp Perfectly and the Veal Chop was "Lights Out, Hands Down", The best I have Ever Eaten. The only Drawback to the evening was that the A/C was on the fritz and it was hotter than "Hades"! Being an 80's kid growing up, no sweat for me... we never had A/C anyway! Pricing is on the High End but... You get What You Pay for and the Food was High Quality, Hand Crafted and Well Presented. Worth it on ALL Levels. We will recommend and return frequently!
