- IIdoneaGreater Boston •8 reviews4.0Dined on Jun 6, 2025We went for steak and oysters. The steak was excellent. The oysters were very good but I am not 100% sure they know yet how to serve them—first time I have been given tea spoons to eat oysters. And the oysters were swimming in their own juices and should have been drained. One service snafu is that they served all the starters moments after putting the oysters down, but as the oysters took up the table and being shared by all, there was no space and the timing was off. They kept them away under heat lamps. The wine list was short but very well selected with great regional and grape and price variety. The sticky quail was beyond superb. The steak ribeye was perfectly cooked and seasoned and divine. Desserts were good and popular but to my taste the honeycomb ice cream and mandarin sorbet were too mild in flavour. Service was attentive and polite and helpful. The restaurant was very quiet for a Friday night. Pity. The decor is striking. Def worth a try.More infoSolus Kitchen & BarPrice: Expensive• European• Holborn•4.7
