The people were really great, especially Ollie. The food was excellent and the ambiance good. The internals have been recently refurbished and look great. The only issues were the gents toilets was a bit smelly (a known issue apparently) and the garden needs some TLC to bring it to the same condition as the interior. Overall a great experience.

I had a lovely time at the red lion for my birthday, they were very kind to put some tables together for our big group and the food was great for coeliacs!

The staff were very welcoming, helpful and chatty. Nice relaxed atmosphere and the food was really good value for money We had the carvery and everyone, including the kids, enjoyed it. Well presented and cooked. Will be going again to enjoy more offers.

Great service albeit a tad slow and food good…..superb location!

Had a meal at Smallburgh crown for Father’s Day. There was 7 of us including 2 kids. The meal was lovely and very good value. Kids menu had a very good choice and the kids enjoyed the play area too.
