The Fox & Pheasant is a little “country” pub tucked away in a small corner of Chelsea. The pub was founded in 1846 and it began its life as the Bedford Arms. Ten years later it changed to the Prince of Wales and in 1965 became The Fox & Pheasant and we have no intention of changing its name again!Not only are we a snug pub in the winter with 3 fire places, a dartboard and dog biscuits for the well behaved companions (dogs)! We are lucky enough to be able to wind back our roof in the conservatory for those long summer lunches to. Alongside our a la carte menu we have a bar snack menu that not only runs all day, everyday but also contains such pub classics. Roasts run all day on a Sunday and we guarantee to make sure you will always have ample spuds, gravy and yorkies!

A modern pub serving a frequently changing menu, available in our dining room, bar, and outside ledges. It's not fine dining, nor is it trying to be. We cook in a way that we as cooks like to eat, so don’t be afraid to share. If you want to pop in for a burger and a pint, feel free to grab any available space in the bar or outside. We accept bookings for tables of up to six people in the dining room.It can be loud and slightly chaotic; at night it is dark. We turn tables because we need to in order to survive and pay the people that make it work, so please don’t be offended if we ask you to wait a moment for your table. Our dining room has limited space and we don’t offer high chairs, so please let us know in advance if you're bringing a pram or need to adjust your booking size.Here's when we're open, so you can find what you're looking for:Lunch: Thursday to Saturday 12-3pm Sunday 1-5pmDinner: Monday to Saturday 6-10pmKitchen is closed on Men’s Arsenal home games.

    The cheapest white wine was a delicious, well chilled bottle of marsanne-viognier. Ok value at £34. Also ordered 3 small snack plates. On my OpenTable booking, I noted that it was my birthday celebration and asked if they could offer anything to make it special. They brought me a plate of chocolates piped with Happy Birthday on it AND free fruity shots for everyone (7 of us). So nice that we stayed for another 3 hours and 2 more bottles of wine and snacks. They also brought iced water for everyone without being asked!!! We were well looked after.

    Food was great and this pub was such a nice quiet calm place to catch up with friends, right in the heart of the west end. A hidden gem.

    We went to the Argyle on our way to Wembley to watch the FA Cup Final. We just wanted a light bite and a couple of drinks and were very impressed. The service was excellent, very friendly and professional, the beer well kept and the food just what we wanted ! There is also a really pleasant outside area to sit on a sunny day ... and to cap it all, we won the cup !
