Food, as always, excellent. 3 salads were very, very good. Lasagne excellent. Try coffee & mini pudding option- great value. It was nice to see the pub a bit busier than usual, one girl serving was so nice, really pleasant. She was a little rushed off her feet at times but coped admirably. 5* for her!

A very pleasant sunny afternoon on the Pied Bull Terrace watching the world go by on the bustling high street! Happy with the service and the assistance we got from staff regarding gluten free options (always available when we visit) Food served with a friendly smile and was super tasty. Parking is convenient at the back of the pub and is free as long as you log your registration number at the machine available on the bar. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again. Thanks to the Pied Bull Team!

Food is great, staff are great, it’s our local and our first choice.

Sat in the new extension part rather than original pub,our table was 12.30 so quiet when arrived but filled up as time went on. Staff polite and attentive, soup was tasty and hot, garlic bread with cheese nicely done and hot as well. Roast beef and turkey dinners very nice, which included large yorkshire pud and pig in blanket along with enough roast spuds and something a bit different a cheese and leak soft rosti?, only had one dessert the crumble( could have done with more custard for size of crumble dish but my friend who had it said it was ok as he couldn't finish it all, had coffee to finish off with which thought good value for size of cup ( only £2.50) All in all for a first visit very satisfied will be back again to try something different in the future
