Best Modern European Restaurants in Stourbridge

I have been going to UCB for many years and always find it an enjoyable experience. This time it was no different two of us went for my birthday meal at UCB. It was against a lovely experience, the food was equivalent to a Michelin Star restaurant and it was excellent value for money. The manager was really friendly and very helpful and one person whose name I don’t know but was from Dublin was also really friendly and we had a good laugh with him. He even got the chef to do a chocolate happy birthday message with some chocolate macaroons on a plate for me. We would definitely be going again in June.

We are never disappointed when we go to The Opposition. Excellent service, with high quality food. I have some food intolerances and the chef always accommodates me. Great atmosphere highly recommend

Superb from a beautifully mixed Negroni to the nibbles sent to accompany pre lunch drinks. Three course £49.50 lunch menu excellent value trout starter sublime. The main was excellent pork served two ways, order the crème brûlée with no need to thank me for its heaven on a plate. The warm olive rolls & crusty sourdough are always welcome with wild garlic & cods roe butters. Some restaurants are let down by service but Simpsons excel unobtrusive friendly but with the correct amount of explanation so that you don’t glaze over in boredom. If you are thinking of booking please do it’s a gem, set in beautiful gardens. Luke Tipping head chef and team are always on top form.

Good food and service with a smile. There is a very friendly and happy feel about the restaurant.

Not as busy a sunday service as usual, but nevertheless family time with littlies. Never mind, FOOD & SERVICE AS GOOD AS ALWAYS . WE WILL RETURN!
