Best Middle Eastern Restaurants in San Carlos

Spectacular service and delicious foods. We were given a couple of samples which helped us decide what to order. Server was super friendly and helped liven up our already festive birthday celebration dinner. I loved my leftovers too!

Turkish cuisine is a treasure house of dishes picked up form all over the Ottoman empire though the ages, and is also modernizing. There are very few high quality restaurants for this sort of cuisine. Meyhouse is certainly one of the best I've seen in the US - certainly in Silicon Valley. There are foods that don't get much love here like sweetbreads and liver, but also a great selection of vegetarian/vegan dishes, seafood and grilled meats. There's a good selection of Meze, and it's a good idea to start with a bunch of these, and then move on to a main course. It works better with more people or bigger appetites.

It’s great to find an authentic Persian restaurant, family owned and operated and not a chain. The food was heavy portioned and excellent quality. I found out I’d been to the restaurant year’s previous with an almost Deja vue moment … now on my list to revisit
