Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Dorsoduro

Food was excellent service exceeded our expectations.

We really enjoyed this restaurant. The food was fresh, interestingly different and delicious. It was the least expensive of any restaurant we had been to, yet still high quality. My husband didn’t like the service as he needed assistance with wine and the waiter just kept showing him the wine list without offering a suggestion. Aside from that, the service was quite stiff compared to places the the Gritti Terrace, Cip’s Club and Arva at Aman; where servers were so engaging, friendly and welcoming. However, the place feels like quiet luxury, is very romantic even without having a view, and we would go back. We recommend their lasagna, lamb, tiramisu and I think it was a sponge cake made to look like a rose. Very good and very reasonably priced.

It was an amazing dinner with all the details properly tended to by every staff member we came into contact with. We thoroughly enjoyed our 30th anniversary.

Impeccable service and attention during the whole meal. Attentive to every detail, the service was perfect, formal and friendly since the arrival. The quality of the product offered is outstanding, as well as the presentation and variety that can be found in the menu. The amuse-bouche already set the tone of the meal. The mix of taste and textures made everything worth it, mostly when it comes to the dessert part of the meal... Including the pre dessert and post dessert surprises. Definitely a place to try while in Venice for everything it offers.

We enjoyed Christmas Eve dinner at Hostaria Castello. Our dinner was excellent and the service was superb. The setting was quaint and quiet.
