Best Mediterranean Restaurants in Annandale

We went to Our Mom Eugenia for my birthday dinner and it was marvelous. Our server, Illkat was happy, helpful and professional. He gave us just the right amount of attention - responsive but not hovering. We took our time eating and everyone was pleasant and helpful. We never felt rushed or that we were taking too much time. The food was really good, as usual. We were 4 people and the portions are very generous. We started with Three Spreads, a hummus, an eggplant and red pepper and feta, blended. Delicious. My husband had the lamb burger which was very good. My sister had lamb chops she devoured. Her husband had mousaka - huge and he could not finish it. And I had branzino which was beautifully prepared and wonderful. Again, way too generous - I took half home. They recently expanded the restaurant and the new big room is delightful. Bright, comfortable and airy. We really enjoyed it. We eat here fairly regularly and always enjoy the food and the service. A well run establishment that is reliable and wonderful and good value. Highly recommend.

Our party of 4 ordered the kebab 4-some and the set of all 5 dips to share. The breadth of flavors was fabulous. Service was quick and informative. Our reservation was well attended and with no alcohol our bill was <$150. And we took home a couple of meals worth of leftovers.

This is a lovely place to get some drinks and yummy food. Caesar took care of us, and I would absolutely like to have him wait on us again!
