So-ju and Maek-ju (beer in Korean) - so what's Soju dropped in a glass of beer and vigorously stirred with a chopskick or the handle of the big spoon - it's "Somaek", right? Kinda of quirky to put gochujang on an otherwise Mexican crispy pork taco, but it works, much like the somaek works. The chicken wings were fantastic - you might have encountered their award-winning flavours at WingFest, and the ying to their yang was a gorgeous raw tuna taco, and simply the best "corn wings" you'll ever eat (a whole corn on the cob, cut lengthwise into four and then roasted and soaked in a spicy buttery gochujang sauce). Aside from the really excellent food, the service was top notch too. Incredibly well-priced too. Five dishes, a cocktail and the famous somaek for about £75.

Best Korean food I have experienced outside of Asia. The location is not the most convenient but it was worth the journey to get there.

This was our first visit to the restaurant and food was good especially the noodle dishes and service was helpful and friendly. Had not picked up about the restaurant being alcohol free but good range of non alcoholic drinks so not a problem

Great service and bibimbap. Lots of meat but got vegans there is a good selection.

This was the first time any of us had been to a Korean BBQ, and it was honestly such a great experience from start to finish. The whole group absolutely loved it! The interactive element of cooking your own food at the table made the evening feel really fun and relaxed, it gave us all something to do and chat about while waiting, and added a unique twist we hadn’t experienced before. One of the standout features for us was the use of tablets at each table. Being able to order more food and drinks at any point without waiting to catch the server was brilliant. It kept things moving at our own pace and meant we could just enjoy ourselves without interruption. We’ll definitely do it again and would recommend to anyone wanting to try something a bit different.
