Minus one star for paying too much attention to us. It was a first date and the conversation was going really well. But it seemed like a different person would come over and ask us if we needed anything or how is everything? We must have seen 5 different people. Appreciate the attention but maybe just 2 people checking on us would have been sufficient. We’ll still go back.

Dinner date for 2 on Thursday night, dined upstairs, food is excellent, a top sushi joint in SD! Service was good and drinks fabulous. We’ve been there twice, once outside on their patio area which I would avoid as it’s just not a good ambiance (and cold) for this quality of a restaurant

Honestly, it was great; however, it was overpriced. My only complaint would be the value for the money—dining at many sushi restaurants in the San Diego area, with a better view. I have paid less than $550 for a party of three, including the tip, for similar-quality dinners.
