The appetizers and rolls were very very good.More infoMorimoto - MauiPrice: Very Expensive• Japanese• Wailea•4.6

- CCorieSan Diego •1 review4.0Dined 3 days agoWe booked at Roy’s on our visit to Maui because we were so impressed with Roy’s Waikiki location. The service and food here are excellent and as good as the Waikiki location. However, there is no sushi roll or sushi menu offered as of July 1, 2025. No problem, it’s what is posted on the online menu. We were just hoping for it. This location has a casual golf clubhouse vibe. Views out the big picture windows to the golf course are nice. The sun can be harsh and the staff does a great job of lowering and raising the shades at the perfect time. We were told by our hotel concierge that this location was remodeled during COVID, and it was nice and bright and clean. But it’s not really fancy for a cocktail dress type of atmosphere. Our hostess and server were great and the food was some of the best on Maui. However, it has lunch vibes as far as atmosphere. The calamari appetizer was plentiful, enough for four people to share, and very tender. I think they make it with the calamari “steak” as it’s big tender strip pieces more like the hood sliced, not from the tentacles and not crispy baby squid like some places. The short rib and tiger shrimp was excellent and portions are good sized. Great value for the food and quality and portion size. Just know the atmosphere is more casual so if you are wanting to dress up and go all out for a special event, this isn’t the vibe for that.More infoRoy's - KaanapaliPrice: Very Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Lahaina•4.4
