Our hotel restaurant was booked for a private event so I quickly searched Open Table for availability nearby and Lucca popped up. I booked a table and took a nice 7-10 minute walk over. It’s in an older looking brick building and has a lively little front porch patio with seating and more inside. There was a super cute little bar area and my daughter and I were seated in a very quaint nook for two. I thought this was place super cute. It was easy for us to chat and no one seated close by. The staff was great and the food and wine was too. We had gnocchi and meatballs and shrimp linguine. Unfortunately, we ate too much so we did not have dessert. This place was popular for locals and was hosting a few small parties. I really enjoyed it and would return on another visit to Pitt.

Everything was excellent, but our server was outstanding. He was knowledgeable, helpful, respectful, efficient, and personable.
