Best Italian Restaurants in Canberra Airport

Fantastic proper Italian tastes.. lovely full G & GF pasta, great wine selection and the BEST service. Great night.

So glad we got to dine here, we came up from the south coast especially for it based on Matt Moran’s reputation and diners reviews … we left looking forward to our next visit based on the wonderful professional and friendly service & fabulous food we experienced ! Steaks were perfectly cooked to order, pasta just delicious and my trout heavenly! Entree were perfectly tasty treats to set us up for a really special meal. Wine choices were made thanks to Dario who was more than happy to talk us through options, regions and styles. Our waiter was so efficient and personable as was the lovely fellow whose name I missed but who looked after us keeping our glasses topped up whether it was dealing water or wine!! Overall just a fantastic night 🙏

Always enjoy La Rustica. Lovely service. Lots of servers. Just watch the table choice in winter. That door opening is a killer.

My wife and I dined at Bicicletta for a special anniversary last night. Besides the great food (the ravioletti was to die for!), the team in general and Sammy in particular were so lovely and attentive. Sammy organized a special desert for us to request and took extraordinary lengths prior to our booking to make sure the evening was atmospheric and memorable. We'd thoroughly recommend Bicicletta and their wonderful team for a delicious, warm dining experience in a casually elegant setting.

Locale is a firm favourite for pizzas however one thing that bugs me is that the table always seems to end up crowded by the wire pizza racks. When there is also wine glasses, water glasses, side plates and starters also on the table, it all becomes very cluttered and the height of the pizza racks makes everything seem like an obstacle to be worked around. And this was only 2 small starters and 3 pizzas between 4 people on a large round table.
