Best Indian Restaurants in Fells Point

Excellent food. Service was a touch slow and laid back. But the food was divine and good portions! Friendly servicemen. Parking was a bear because Merriweather was having a concert, but but parking in two garages was totally fine and the weather was nice enough to enjoy the five minute walk.

Loved the dosa bar. The samosa chaat bar was not so great, as the samosa themselves tasted warmed over. Runners were super speedy in clearing tables, but not so much the food on the buffet, especially the lamb, which is rare to find on any Indian buffet. Value would have been fantastic had more food tasted as fresh as the dosa bar. Given the traffic for Mother's Day, it seemed like they were always behind getting food onto the buffet. Given no menu option, I find no excuse for not replenishing the buffet quickly.

Had a wonderful date night dinner at Akbar. Chicken Vindallo and Chicken Tiki Masala. Both were well prepared and delicious.
