Bombay Nights is one of our favorite restaurants. We were scheduled to go to another restaurant but because of the storm they lost power. We decided to go to our favorite place because we knew the food would be great, the service would be friendly, and they would give us our favorite table with a smile.

Loved the dosa bar. The samosa chaat bar was not so great, as the samosa themselves tasted warmed over. Runners were super speedy in clearing tables, but not so much the food on the buffet, especially the lamb, which is rare to find on any Indian buffet. Value would have been fantastic had more food tasted as fresh as the dosa bar. Given the traffic for Mother's Day, it seemed like they were always behind getting food onto the buffet. Given no menu option, I find no excuse for not replenishing the buffet quickly.

If you don't like very spicy, ask for mild. Otherwise we will go back and try the small plates ..Naan was very good and all food was served sizzling.

Had a wonderful date night dinner at Akbar. Chicken Vindallo and Chicken Tiki Masala. Both were well prepared and delicious.
