The Black Horse in the village of Fulmer is nestled between Gerrards Cross and Pinewood Studios. The 17th Century craftsman’s cottage has gradually been extended to form a charming country pub full of nooks and crannies. Under new ownership, The Black Horse has recently undergone extensive refurbishment both inside and out, creating one of the nicest pub environments in the area.Food is our passion and we will never compromise on quality. We are proud of our seasonally changing menus, simple, yet exciting using the finest ingredients and locally sourced produce. Certain dishes have become specialities such as our sticky ribs and homemade 8oz burgers. Our beef has been aged for a minimum of 35 days and the roast beef served on Sundays is unrivalled. Crispy beer battered fish and specials such as sea bass, turbot and whole lobster, is caught in the morning and delivered fresh to us on the same day.

The building and decor are charming and rustic, with elegant modern touches. As all dishes are prepared in the pub kitchen, they are able to cater for most dietary needs, with most sauces, soups and gravy all created gluten free. The Britannia is Richmonds leading independent restaurant and bar. Welcome to The Grove. A modern gastro pub serving a selection of contemporary and classic dishes. We offer a casual dining area with full table service, and a large bar area with assisted service. We are a dog friendly pub as long as they are with well behaved hoomans but we don't allow dogs in our dining area, if you would like to bring a four-legged friend, let us know and we can seat you in our bar area or garden.We accept bookings up to 6 inside, multiple bookings cannot be made for the same party. We have a click and pay app for our guests; it helps us decrease contact at the bar. It also enables our guest to remain at their table.
