Wonderful evening with great service and food, will return

A really lovely gastro-pub on the hills near Westward Ho! Food was really delicious; although there were a couple of missing items on the menu (reassuring it's freshly prepared) we all managed to find something to enjoy. Overall a pleasant experience, and worth visiting again on our next trip to the area.

Everything was delightful (with one very minor exception when the parfait desserts were served still frozen). However it was a minor disappointment considering the otherwise high attention to detail and the excellence of the food and service. Highly recommended

Lovely place to eat. the food is very good. the choice of where to eat when booking, Green room, Red room??? no idea where they are! Only downside of the meal was the sharpness of the knives, we had trouble cutting the beef the knives just weren't up to the job. Other than that a lovely place and good food, will definitely be back!
