Popped into Ye Olde Horseshoes for a Sunday roast and was thoroughly impressed. The beef roast was excellent – perfectly pink in the middle, tender, and full of flavour. The roast potatoes were just how I like them: golden and crispy on the outside, fluffy inside. The vegetable medley was fresh and well-cooked, and the gravy tied everything together beautifully. The Yorkshire puddings deserve a special mention – huge, fluffy, and delicious. We were seated in a cosy room that stayed cool despite the heat outside, which I found very comfortable, although my dad thought it was a bit chilly. Prices were reasonable for the quality: £21.50 for the roast, with pints around £5–£6, and a 10% service charge added – fair for the great service we received. Overall, a lovely pub lunch with great food and atmosphere. Would definitely return!

This dinner was amazing. Quantity and quality to a perfect balance. I had the duo of meats beef and pork and they were not stingy with the portions. Fast service, pleasant staff and nice cosy environment. Overall it's a 10 from me

Loved it. The set menu was EXCELLENT value and the quality of the food, together with the skill to cook it means it a 5* from me. Throughly recommended.

We had a fantastic experience! The food was perfect pub grub—fresh, delicious, and exactly what I was hoping for. The service was friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting, which really added to the enjoyment. The venue itself is great, and I'm especially looking forward to seeing it in the summer. It has a huge outdoor area with bars, food options, and a park for children. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

Excellent food with vegan options. Fast and friendly service. Parking difficult as usual even on a Monday evening. Good selection of draught beers. All good.
