We regularly visit the Nailers for dining out and if we take friends or family out to eat we ALWAYS use the Nailers. Reliable food quality and service that will never cause an embarrassment. Just keep doing what you are doing guys. Just fantastic.

Another lovely meal at the Bell and Cross. Party of 4, 2 x Twice baked souffle, smoked salmon and prawn tian, carpaccio of beetroot to start. 2 x pork belly, fish and chips, spinach and ricotta ravioli mains. Just 2 desserts, almond sponge and sticky toffee pudding. All excellent as usual. Would thoroughly recommend you book a visit.

Great food, drink and service. Such a shame that the storm brought a power cut to the village before we got desert and coffee. Candles lit and open fire made for a lovely atmosphere.

Breakfast with Santa was a magical experience. Excellent food and service. Santa was wonderful, giving everyone time, playing with the children, and so patient. We have some lovely photos and wonderful memories.

We meet some friends for a Christmas get together. We were warmly greeted and taken to our table. We could not fault the service throughout our stay. The meals were well presented and extremely tasty. There was not enough room, on the table, for the accompanying dishes to the meal. The vegetables were and remained hot in the bamboo steamer, excellent idea. rather than leaving vegetables in an open dish to go cold . The Wainwrights was refreshing and well kept as was the other guest beer, but I cannot remember its name. A good wine list, the ladies settling for a Pingot. A very friendly and welcoming pub. Fine dinning in a pub. No gimmicks, just good food, excellent drinks and excellent friendly service.
