Very quiet on a Tuesday lunchtime so the place lacked its usual atmosphere. It was a birthday meal, which was mentioned when booking. Disappointed that nobody wished my husband a happy birthday. Lovely food as usual.

Lovely lunch. Husband enjoyed his pork belly and the shepherds pie is always good. Mum finished off her chicken schnitzel with relish. Our server was great too - young lady, long black hair - she was polite, helpful, friendly and prompt.

We had a lovely family lunch in the sunshine in the beer garden. The food was absolutely delicious, and Curtis was incredibly helpful and friendly, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. The garden itself is beautiful, with comfortable chairs perfect for relaxing with a drink, as well as shaded tables for those who prefer to dine out of the sun. A fantastic spot for a sunny lunch—highly recommended!

There was only one member of staff on duty, serving at the bar, in the restaurant and cleaning the tables and the floor! She did her best but it meant that we had to wait for 10 minutes at the reception desk on arrival, even though we had booked online. We also had wait for 10 minutes to pay before we left. The food was adequate but not so well prepared as the last time we were there a year ago.
