The staff was attentive and professional, but super friendly! We went the a la carte route rather than the tasting menu and glad we did! 4 amuse bouche started the meal with an eel dish , a lobster dish, pea and mint , and stuffed chicken skin’ Then I had crispy sweetbreads,Lee had scallops tartar, followed by duck for me and cod for Lee. The 2 dishes I had were outstanding with a great mustard sauce for the delicious sweetbreads, and the duck had stuffed morels and a smoked egg to add to the fun. The fish dishes, particularly the tartar was great as well. That was followed by 4 desserts, an apple ball with a custard inside, core teasor, lots of chocolate surrounding custard and ice cream, a lemon meringue parfait, and then little warm chocolate tarts with melted chocolate inside.Fabulous in every way!!More infoCORE by Clare SmythPrice: Very Expensive• British• Notting Hill•4.9

We were given our requested quiet table (speakers can be turned down/off in certain areas), music was good and appropriately atmospheric. Food was really good quality and tasty, different from the run of the mill. Good short menu of fresh, seasonal produce. Highly recommendedMore infoFrench SocietyPrice: Expensive• French• Hampstead•4.9

- MMadeleineLondon •5 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoOne of the finest, dining experiences in London. Our second fabulous dinner at this amazing gem of a restaurant. The MOST delicious, tasty food, that is presented beautifully. 104 Restaurant is up there with the many other multi Michelin starred restaurants in London. It truly deserves at least 1 or 2 stars. Michelin - you need to check this place out asap. The lobster ravioli was heavenly, packed full of the freshest, most succulent, sweet lobster meat. Delicious home made foie gras, with a tiny serving of tarte tatin on the side. The 2 things are a superb match Then beautiful red mullet and lamb. Richard’s Soufflés are the best you’ll find in town. Feather light, not too sweet and oh SO tasty. Served with homemade, silky ice cream. The freshly baked bread is like a hybrid of bread and Yorkshire pudding, served warm, straight from the oven, steeped in tasty olive oil, with a sprinkle of sea salt. Crisp on the outside and immensely fluffy on the inside. DIVINE ! £60 for 3 courses or £120 for the tasting menuMore info104 Restaurant by Richard WilkinsPrice: Very Expensive• French• Notting Hill•5
