Best French Restaurants in Indiana

My friend and I have a new favorite preparation of our beloved salmon; it was exquisitely delicious with the orange buerre blanc, mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts. We were well entertained and appreciative that Chef Jes visited with us twice, sharing very helpful information as well as humor. Our waitress Kelsey was wonderful and the restaurant is very attractive and comfortable

Food and service were excellent. Only one minor “miss”: the tartiflette did not have the roasted red peppers indicated on the menu which would have bumped up the flavor. You can have profiteroles for dessert which are not served many places in Indianapolis. We will definitely return.

The chicken paillard was delicious and always a favorite. Never disappoints. We had profiteroles for dessert with Madeline’s. Both amazing. Half price wine bottles on Wednesday make this such a great spot for dinner with friends!!

The Melting Pot was a wonderful experience! Our server was personable and knowledgeable about the food. The food was excellent and I left with a happy stomach.

The ambiance of the Penthouse was a wonderful throwback to elegant quietness. The student waitstaff could not be more enthusiastic and willing to cater to our every need. The French cuisine was beautifully prepared. My wife enjoyed the charcuterie. My salmon Rillette was beautifully presented (if, a little tasteless. My only minor complaint). Wife had the Coq au Vin. It was excellent. I had the poached fish. The Beurre Blanc was sublime! Despite our concern that we didn't have enough room for dessert, my wife wasted no time gobbling up her Creme Brulee and I wasted no time digging into my pumpkin cheesecake. A wonderful experience that we will do again.
