Best European Restaurants in Poynton

Greeted at the door and escorted to reception desk. All staff very professional and polite. The room we had afternoon tea in was beautifully decorated, but a bit underwhelming. It was it small with a few tables . I think my expectations were that it would be a larger and lighter room with windows and a pleasant outlook. Excellent service from the young lady who served us. The food was plentiful and delicious. We could not hear the background music, if it was a tad louder it would have added to the atmosphere ,

Have been to most of the 4*+ hotels in Manchester for Afternoon Tea but this was the best we've experienced. Loved the atmosphere and the surroundings of the Library Champagne Bar, it was just perfect for us. Staff were very attentive and the food was very good quality. Spent a very enjoyable two hours celebrating our upcoming wedding anniversary and we will certainly be returning for another Afternoon Tea in the near future.

Had a lovely girlie lunch, busy but good standards maintained. Sea bass was well cooked, not keen on the “cooked “ olives though. Mini brownie were lovely but really needed a little icecream/cream to make it easier to eat them, bit laggy without. Two minor points, that didn’t spoil our experience, and well done to Alaska who looked after us 😊

Great place to eat and nice staff looking after your needs. Recommend either lunch or evening.
