Lovely food, staff friendly, would recommend a visit

We had a lovely evening here. The atmosphere was great. Indoor and outdoor seating. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious, freshly cooked and piping hot. My husband had fish and chips with homemade curry sauce. He said it was the best curry sauce he had ever had. The service was slow but we weren’t in a hurry and enjoyed the relaxed service. Lovely place and staff well done!

We were a party of 11 and didn’t tell them until we arrived that one of our party was lactose intolerant. This wasn’t a problem at all, the chef put together an afternoon tea with a mix of vegan and vegetarian items, all of which were delicious and looked amazing. We could have as much tea and coffee as we wanted and the afternoon tea for the rest of us was extremely delicious with a good mix of sweet and savoury. Would definitely go again.

Excellent care and attention by the server particularly. She couldn’t have been more obliging. Food was well prepared and presented. Good size portions on a warm plate.

Went for my sons birthday breakfast , was lovely as usual .
