- JJanWashington, D.C. Area •4 reviews5.0Dined on May 30, 2025Last night’s dining experience was truly memorable. From the moment I arrived, I was impressed by the restaurant's welcoming ambiance and well-kept, attractive interior. The overall physique of the place was both stylish and comfortable, setting the stage for a great meal. The menu was extensive, offering a wide range of dishes to suit all tastes. It took a while to decide—there were just so many tempting options! Fortunately, the staff were kind and patient, and I noticed a "picture book" near the front desk that really solidified my knowledge of what I was ordering since I do not speak Spanish. We never felt rushed, and the food came pretty fast, and it did not disappoint. Every dish was absolutely delicious, clearly made with fresh ingredients and a thoughtful touch. We will definitely be returning soon.More infoCuba de AyerPrice: Moderate• Latin / Spanish• Silver Spring•4.8
- WWilliamNew York City •10 reviews5.0Dined on May 21, 2025Cubanos is a hidden gem that we always visit when in the area, with high-end cuisine that's fairly priced. One could go with sharing the wide range of appetizers and enjoy small plates or the same with dinner. Ropa vieja is moist and flavorful. Oxtail stew was delicious, rich gravy and tender. More basic items like the shrimp and vegetables cooked to perfection. Tres leches was fantastic dessert along with Cuban coffee. Excellent experience this week again!More infoCubanosPrice: Expensive• Cuban• Bethesda•4.7
