Best Contemporary Italian Restaurants in Miami Springs

We had a layover at MIA and ubered to this restaurant located in a small retail strip. There are only 8 or so tables. There is a very nice menu but we were greeted by the chef who made us special dishes of bolognese and snapper with fresh veggies and pasta. Complimentary bread is out of this world. Cuban chef trained in Italy - excellent experience! Can’t wait o go back!!

The restaurant’s location, right by the river, offers breathtaking views that perfectly complement the meal. Watching the sunset reflect off the water while enjoying authentic Italian cuisine created an unforgettable atmosphere. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. I started with the bruschetta, which was perfectly crisp and topped with vibrant, fresh ingredients. For the main course, the homemade pasta was divine—cooked to perfection with rich, hearty sauces that transported me straight to Italy. The tiramisu for dessert was the perfect ending: creamy, light, and just the right amount of sweetness. The staff was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall experience. They were happy to make excellent wine pairing suggestions that elevated the meal even further. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a family celebration, or just a relaxing evening with good food and stunning scenery, this restaurant is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

we had the tasting menu, which was delicious and a good value. The first course was very salty and the room was freezing cold at 7 PM. The other courses were less salty and the restaurant was a pleasant temperature around 9 PM. the server was excellent. I will probably try the wine pairing next time, because it's $55 compared to corkage of $45. We will definitely try the tasting menu again.

The entire staff was kind and hospitable from The hostess team to the waiter. I appreciated that they were able to accommodate my request to be seated upstairs. My mother and I had a wonderful meal and the food and service was impeccable. This was my third time dining here and I will be sure to come back in the future. This is one of our favorite restaurants in Coral Gables. The food is great and the service is tremendous. It's a perfect place for that special someone meal.
