Best Contemporary Indian Restaurants in Wapping

Kachori is a wonderful place. The food and service are impeccable. We have visited many times and have never been disappointed. This is a great spot, make sure you go.

Most delicious and interesting menu - this is not your standard chicken tikka masala etc curry house. Much more like Indian food served in India. Recommend sharing dishes so you get to taste as much as possible of the menu. Not too loud, we could chat comfortably. Recommend.

It a lovely restaurant with good ambience and fantastic staff. The only reason I have given the food a 3 is because the tandoor paneer dish I ordered was slightly chewy and lacked in the tandoori flavour. I also ordered few other dishes such as Bhartha, Avocado balls, Chicken curry and Sheesh lamb which were all very good.

The whole experience was lovely, the only reason for not giving 5 stars throughout is because service was slow (we waited quite a while for chai) and the refilling was very slow and often forgotten so we had to keep on trying to get someone's attention to refill the chai.
