Best Contemporary Indian Restaurants in Millbank

We were traveling to London from the US and on this evening we were seeking good Indian food that is not the commercial Indian we are used to in the US. We chose Manthan for its unique menu. We loved the food and the atmosphere. Great food and outstanding service.

Lovely pre theatre menu with good vegetarian options. Staff were really helpful and friendly dealing with our slightly disorganised and large group. Great food and cocktails.

Great service in a wonderful setting and it’s delicious food

We had an amazing experience dining at Kahani. We had the bottomless food option, it was definitely worth £45! We got to try so much delicious food that we would not normally order. The staff were very polite, friendly and attentive. Our server Akil was the absolute best! Thank you.

We visited as a family of four. The place is nicely decorated & well located. Ambiance is awesome, clean full of traditional Rajasthanni artifacts! Also, since it is next to Tideway Walk, it gives a vibrant view. Comes to food, in starter we ordered, Chilli Paneer, which was a little spicy 🔥 but good; Samosa Chat, which was Indian authentic and delicious; Nonveg platter, the taste was good but the quantity was comperatively less. Kids rating- "I would give it a five star ⭐ rating". Main course, we ordered Kadhai Paneer & various naan which kids like; a Maharaja Thali to taste the Rajasthaani authentic, which was a little disappointing, the non-veg gravy was certainly not great however we likes Daal-Bati-Churma, Kadhi, Gatte Ki Sabji, and obviously Gulab Jamun! Suddenly, you turned our heads around by celebrating our anniversary by giving us a small cake 🎂. Kids rating- The overall review would be a Four & Half star ✨ .
