Best Contemporary French Restaurants in Venice

To be fair we actually ate at Trois Mec, one of the 10 days the Chef Ludo reopened this side since 2020. It was great all the way around. I have been to the Petit Trois in the Valley but will go back to the original as it had a great patio.

Enjoyable meal. Good food and good service. Will return.

I had to ask a couple times before we saw a waiter. I came specifically for the duck and honestly, it was lackluster. Little bit of a bummer. I think their Hollywood location is a bit better. The bar here is super slow.

My partner and I celebrated our anniversary at The Little Door, and it was such a beautiful experience. I had the 14 oz Prime Creekstone Ribeye Steak, he had the Creekstone Filet Mignon, and we shared the Escargot de Bourgogne, Portuguese Piri Piri Shrimp, and warm Housemade Parker Roll. Every dish was rich, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. Our server, Lilith, was incredibly attentive, and the bus staff kept everything flowing smoothly—they cleared plates promptly, filled our water glasses as soon as they were low, and even brought out a new bottle when the first one ran out. The ambiance inside is magical—romantic, intimate, and ideal for a special night out. It was the perfect place to celebrate, and we’ll absolutely be back.

Delicious culinary cuisine combined with refreshing beverages. Everything we had was 10/10. We ordered the stacked Caesar salad with fresh anchovies. Yummy! The fish crudo. Full of flavor! And the unique honeynut squash. Surprisingly fantastic! Dining at this restaurant makes all of my #EmilyInParis dreams come true!
