- MMichelleNew Orleans / Louisiana •16 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoWe haven’t been here in several years, but the new location is splendid!! Quite for a romantic evening. The food was outstanding! I enjoyed the scallops while my husband partook in the veal. Both were very well prepared and seasoned to perfection.More infoDakota Restaurant - CovingtonPrice: Very Expensive• American• Covington•4.9

We ‘re visiting from Austin, Texas, and all I can say is that Cafe Degas is one more reason to come back to New Orleans. The atmosphere is lovely, quirky and warm. Our server, Kenzie, was so friendly and welcoming, and she used to live in Austin, but the highlight was the food! The escargot was fantastic, the fried oysters were some of the best we’ve ever had, 3 of us couldn’t resist the swordfish special, which was divine, with perfectly cooked asparagus and haricot vert, but our friend ordered the lamb lollipops, which she said were exquisite. We feel badly that we closed the place, but the staff was so kind when we left. It was a perfect evening. We’ll have to eat here every time we visit the City. Our girlfriend who introduced us to this restaurant said she has such fond memories of Cafe Degas because she and her grandmother ate here often. It was a favorite of her grandmother. Now it’s a favorite of ours.More infoCafe DegasPrice: Expensive• French• Mid-City / City Park•4.7
- BBrianvipNorthwest Florida •12 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoMy wife and I are NOLA natives visiting after being gone for ten years. The food at Tableau was great and the atmosphere was beautiful (I’d worked in the building years ago and could barely recognize it by the new floor plan). Even my two kids (7 and 9) enjoyed their meals and the experience. Touring the building after the meal was worth the trip. Thank you to Sabrina and Kayla for the service, and to Ruby who took the time to guide us to the “secret room” where some celebrities have dined. Thank you, also, to Tanya who took our picture on the balcony overlooking Jackson Square. Those personal touches made the night really special. I’m glad we chose this place over the dozens of other offerings in New Orleans.More infoTableauPrice: Expensive• Creole / Cajun / Southern• French Quarter•4.5

We had both breakfast and dinner same day here and both were excellent. It has an authentic French brassiere vibe.More infoKing Brasserie & BarPrice: Expensive• French• Central Business District•4.5
- RReneevipNew Orleans / Louisiana •11 reviews5.0Dined 6 days agoEverything was wonderful as usual. This was our 4th Thanksgiving with August. The noise level was a problem this year because of one of the larger tables in the room where we were seated. One could tell by the looks on other’s faces in the room that no one was pleased at having their Thanksgiving dinner compromised by the bad behavior of a small group of people. I understand that the restaurant cannot control the guests, but it was extremely annoying. Everyone was relieved when the table departed.More infoRestaurant AugustPrice: Very Expensive• Contemporary French / American• Central Business District•4.9
