Best Contemporary French American Restaurants in Surfside

We stupidly decided to venture to Le Jardinere from Miami Beach during Art Basel. It took us 2 hours and 15 minutes to get there in an Uber. We were an hour late for our reservation. When I called, the hostess could not have been nicer. We got seated right away and other than the ride there, nothing disappointed. We started with cocktails which were outstanding. We did the tasting menu with wines. Every single course was perfection. The crudo was tender and flavorful, buratta was the best I’ve had. The salmon and beef courses were excellent and perfectly cooked to temperature. The passion fruit dessert was not only beautiful but delicious. The wine pairing were perfect and the sommelier was exceptionally knowledgeable. The waiters were attentive and not hovering. They even found a charger to recharge my next to dead iPhone after our unexpectedly long ride. 5 stars all around.

The food is phenomenal but be prepared for some incredibly small portions. The Bass was $32 and approximately 2 bites. I am not exaggerating. The tuna was amazing, the pork dumplings were absolutely delicious. The service was top notch. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant.

Very nice restaurant with great service and good food except for the creamed spinach. It needs a little work.

Not all caviar is created equal. Here the Caviar & oysters are the best quality by far ! Always a superb meal! The chef and staff make the experience five star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we are regulars and will continue to be!

Yuri took great care of us! We enjoyed the wines and the various dishes - from oysters to pasta.
