We took 2 friends for a special treat and had as always a beautiful meal impeccably served without flash but genuine warmth and friendliness. The wines were perfect . We had the set menu as definitely too hot for a full tasting menu. We were able to relax and chat without being close to another table .. a spacious elegant feel and not overcrowded .

Galu is a great choice for a meal for a special occasion. There’s a really wide choice of Greek and Italian dishes and also a special Sunday roast menu. The food is always cooked excellently and delicious and the service is attentive. The music levels were a little too loud on our most recent visit (two of our party are on the deaf side) but not raucous. Prices reflect the more upmarket ambience though so if it’s just a regular Sunday lunch out you’re looking for there are cheaper places around.

Overall another good experience although I had provided a special request as a Birthday celebration for my wife and the restaurant did not acknowledge the occasion in any way which is disappointing at this level / price point.
