This is my favourite local fine dining restaurant. I highly recommend it to anyone who has not yet experienced the Dysart. Five stars in every category.

Beautiful service. To the extent they referred to us by name and even asked after our daughter by name a decade after we had stayed there once overnight. Very very nice touch. Trying to tread the line between elegant restaurant and the main dining option for a resident and do it pretty well. A famously child friendly hotel so a lot of them around the restaurant - most were impeccably behaved but a few that fell below a reasonably expected standard. For the price it lacked a certain ambience but enjoyed the food. Signature dishes are worthy, for sure.

Overall another good experience although I had provided a special request as a Birthday celebration for my wife and the restaurant did not acknowledge the occasion in any way which is disappointing at this level / price point.

An exceptional dining experience from start to finish. The ambiance was elegant, the service impeccable, and each dish beautifully presented with incredible flavor. Highlights included the expertly prepared Orkney Scallop, Herdwick lamb and perfect wine pairings. A must-visit for fine dining lovers!
