The name is perfect. This was a real voyage of discovery taste-wise. Amazing. We had the 7 course tasting menu and each course was exquisite - the attention to detail phenomenal. Fine dining menus can be a bit rich for me but the Scandinavian influence added a real freshness to each dish. Adam was there on the night and we watched him at work which all added to the overall experience. The service is fantastic and attentive but never over the top. Overall we loved it and will definitely be back.

This was our first experience of Victor Garvey since he took over the Midland Grand. The cooking is excellent, with a touch of humour and certainly different to your standard Tasting Menus. I have to give credit to the staff as well, who are all quite young but give the restaurant a more informal feel and quite different many other high end establishments. Well worth trying!

Great hideaway place that is a bit out of the ordinary and has a bit of a history. Being converted Victorian toilets, it is small and intimate. Great cocktails and nice selection of nibbles and light bites.
