Glad it had a tzaziki style sauce underneath. Came with roasted potatoes cut into large cubes, crispy and hot so let them cool a bit and a side of their(I believe)pickles which was an interesting side but I liked them. Both friends ordered caesar salads with crab and enjoyed them. Also had cup of corn chowder which came with their focaccia, delish. For dessert two of us had a scoop of ice cream with a chosen liqueur. I had the bourbon cream which was yummy. My friend had the peach which smelled lovely but pricey and she liked the bourbon creme better. My other friend ordered the lemon lavender berry posset which tasted great. We could not taste lavender but other friend did and made the yuck face. What can you do. Can't please them all. Had a window four top which was great for that ocean view but dress accordingly as it was warm. There were shades and we dropped ours down enough to block sun but keep view. Also if you are a couple they have some two tops that work for small to medium humans as they are between pillars and table is not normal width, half like a bar top. I've sat there before and I"d go for a bar seat before sitting there . We are 5'3" 115# and 5'9"170# I was not impressed but there was a couple the other night who were seated there and appeared ok with it. Up to you. For a romantic date go to The Depot. For a family with kids and a healthy spending budget or friends looking for decent grub and a view, Pickled Fish is perfect. Oh, they had a music, started around 7- 730p? A guy with guitar, perfect music for the space, not a loud jam. I would have liked to stay and listen but we had other plans. All in all one of the better places to eat out on Long Beach peninsula.More infoPickled FishPrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Long Beach•4.3
