- MMatthew1 review5.0Dined on Apr 27, 2025The brunch menu prepared by Chef Mario was unique and adventurous, but not out of touch for casual diners. The pastries were phenomenal we chose the Kouign-Amann which were flawless and so delicious as well as the Cheddar, Jalapeño and chive scones. Both were served with butter and jam. She had the Chicken and waffles that came with a harissa-kohlrabi slaw and ginger-lime maple syrup. Spicy, sweet and complex on the palate. I had the Chesapeake Benny, poached eggs, maryland crab on top of a breaded fried green tomato with tarragon hollandaise, grilled asparagus and home fries! Every bite was intensely pleasing. Each dish was plated beautifully and each component worked so well together. We got more pastries to go home with. Our server, Andrea was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the food she was serving and its presentation. She was kind enough to gift us her favorite scone flavor on the house! I can honestly say it was the best meal (not just brunch) I’ve had all year. Thanks! Matt and JodiMore infoTopsidePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Mt. Vernon•4.8
- RRobertVIPVirginia •47 reviews4.0Dined on Apr 22, 2025We specifically returned to Cindy's for the green circle brined chicken entre which is no longer offered - a real shame since it was sooooo good! The pickle brined sammy is "OK" but not the same. Stacked fried green tomatoes were unremarkable. Dinner menu resembles a lunch menu, don't know what they're thinking, but this is no longer a "go to" for special evenings for us. Location is great, if the weather is decent be sure to take a table outside right on the water. Also, outside is quieter making table conversation easy. Inside is louder, lots of hard surfaces and a bar crowd that naturally adds to the noise in the dining area.More infoCindy Lou's Fish HousePrice: Expensive• Contemporary American• Fells Point•4.3
