Best Contemporary American Restaurants in Washington Township

This is a new place with a nice vibe and great wine selection. The deviled eggs appetizer was very nice. Highly recommend the lobster BLT. My panko encrusted halibut sat under the heat lamp too long. Our waiter was very attentive, so 5 stars to Issac.

Northside Social is always a solid choice. They have a great menu, bar, fun seasonal cocktails and great wines by the glass. Our server was busy but super attentive, can't wait to go back!

Went to Late Harvest for dinner after attending a college commencement. Our server, Zack, was attentive; but not intrusive. Our starter of the salmon spread came out promptly. The chips were fresh and not too salty. The salmon was nicely chunked and seasoned. My wife ordered the chicken schnitzel and I had the halibut with a side of roasted vegetables. The chicken schnitzel was pounded thin with a nice coating. The accompanying spaetzle was tender and well prepared. the pan seared halibut was crispy but not over seared. the halibut was cooked through , moist and flakey. The roasted vegetables were a large serving more than enough for 2 people and was delicious. We will be back again.

It’s one of my favorite restaurants here in Indy! Food is always delicious, great service and awesome drinks!

I don't know how Steve Oakley does it. But I hope he keeps doing it. Steve's creativity is second to none in Indy. We had two of the specials last night and both were outstanding. And as always, the wine selection and the service via Josh were exceptional. We love Oakley's.
