There are ninety-nine different ways to write “sushi” in the Japanese script of kanji. Each with its own unique interpretation and meaning. It was with great deliberation that our founder, Billy, chose 寿司 to best represent his personal interpretation of the word - Celebration of Fish!That’s exactly how Billy feels about the art of making sushi and the atmosphere that surrounds it - it should be a celebration! Which is why Billy Sushi is more than just a restaurant, it is an experience for anyone who allows themselves to take part. A three-ring performance of sorts - sushi bar, sake bar and dining room - brought to life by the performances of sushi chefs, bartenders and servers. And the Ring Master and your host, Billy.

Welcome to Masa & Agave, a speakeasy-style cantina hidden below stairs at the historic Hotel Ivy in Downtown Minneapolis. On Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's from 8pm to Close we are first-come, first-served and do not accept reservations during this time.Worshipped as the Aztec gods of fertility and long life, venerated for their powers of sustenance, corn masa and agave have been central to Mexican culture and cuisine since ancient times. Using authentic techniques, we prepare corn masa-based starters and Mexico City-style tacos that are bursting with regional flavors, along with dinner classics like Pork Carnitas and Negro Monelo-Braised Beef Short Ribs. Our collection of 200 agave spirits pays homage to the jimadores and mezcaleros who have labored over their craft for generations. Sip on a copita or two, or gather friends for one of our signature Margaritas - try the Tradicionale, Tamarindo or a Margarita al Gusto mixed with your choice of spirit. Salud!

    I must say we had a wonderful time and experience at the Parlour St. Paul location. We went out to celebrate my wife's birthday and when we arrived there was a hand-written colorful birthday card for my wife already on the table they had reserved for us after I made the reservation. Our server, Samantha M, was very attentive, made wonderful suggestions for cocktails and food, and provided my wife with a complimentary drink and dessert for her birthday. The food was delicious, as always, and the atmosphere and service was spectacular. I love all the food items but I especially go there for the Parlour burger, cocktails, and popcorn. We had a wonderful experience and I would definitely return again and recommend the Parlour St. Paul location to anyone. Thanks again for the wonderful experience and service.

    Firstly, the service was amazing! Our server Annie was fantastic and Sophia the hostess made us feel so welcome!! I’d go back just for the service alone. Drinks were great, and the ambience and music was a huge plus.

    Cozy and uniquely gorgeous little speakeasy. Lively, but not overcrowded at all, even on Valentine’s Day. Great spot for conversation, though it’s possible you’ll be seated close to others with some unconventional seating (not bad however). Pizza and cocktails are incredible. Music plays on film reels. The drink menu changes occasionally and always fun and totally unique.
