Chef Roger Shakes previously head chef at ‘Mango Room’ in Camden Town where he cooked for stars, heavyweights and luminaries from around the globe.Originally from Westmoreland, Jamaica, Roger came to London in 1999 where his first employment in a restaurant was washing plates. I traveled from Los Angeles to London and had the absolute pleasure of discovering Jam Delish back in April 2024. The food and experience was so good, I never stopped thinking of this place. I’ve returned to London and it was the first meal I wanted to eat when I touched down and I had it the night before I left! This place is beyond good, not enough words to describe the deliciousness .

I saw this restaurant on social media, and had to try it. I havent eaten alot of caribbean food but the jerk chicken was the best i´ve eaten. Sadly i didnt have the time to fully enjoy everything on the meny as I would since i was a pressed timetable. But waiter was really nice, food was really nice so I really will come here again next time i come from Sweden.

The food was amazing and the team was on it. Great atmosphere too. It just feels quite cheeky to sell the set menu at 50%off (at now £25) when in fact one saves a few pounds only. If someone tells me I’m getting a set menu that usually costs £50, I expect £50… and not two dishes and a cocktail that would cost me £30 if I had ordered the dishes separately. Very misleading marketing.
