Best Bars And Lounges in Moorgate

I have been to all the other facilities within The Savoy on previous occasions except for the American Bar. So it was time to try it out as I had a friend visiting from the US. We were excited for our visit , but to be honest we were a little underwhelmed with the overall experience. The ambience was lovely, the piano however was too loud and we were seated directly in front of the piano so it was not easy for us to have a conversation which we wanted to have after not seeing each other for 2 years. We ordered off menu - 2 Hugo spritz - I had nicer ones in Slovenia last week for €6! The total bill at The Savoy was £62. I understand that part of the cost is for the history and the experience. We left after our cocktails to move somewhere else where we could have a conversation and an enjoyable evening. It was worth trying once but I doubt I would return.

We were a bit sceptical at first however the ambience was perfect, the employees and customer service was outstanding. We were made to feel welcome , special by every member we met. They took time to talk to you and listen and nothing was too much. Definately a hidden Gem
