We had an exceptional night at Basil’s. Walking in to the restaurant we immediately knew we were in for a good experience. The fire was lit , pre dinner drinks on the couch - fabulous. The waitress was so welcoming and informative she and her coworker made our night. The food was amazing. Try the rack of lamb with the chocolate lamb cigar. Delicious. Try Basils on your visit. You will be in for a great night.

A really lovely venue to fine in or even have a drink with different areas for dining and arm chairs. The food was delicious and we really enjoyed our meals.

We had dined at Elm before for a large group birthday occasion where we enjoyed the experience. However this experience was on another level as it was more intimate being only four of us dining. Maddi was our incredible host who educated us on the perfect wine and drinks to have with each one of our meals. Her knowledge and expertise was nothing short of perfection! Personable plus had a laugh with us however at the same time, allowed space for us yo enjoy the experience! We ordering three times the amount of food we would normally order (Maddi thought we were joking!) because it was incredible. The pork was an outstanding main dish and experience will never forget.

As usual Grass Valley food, service and ambience was first class!
